AMC NYC Theatre

If you’re planning to see a movie this weekend but you’re not updated on the latest AMC ticket prices, you are probably wondering how much the standard and premium tickets cost.

But first, let’s differentiate between these two categories. Basically, standard tickets are for auditoriums that have laser or digital projection. The newer or the recently remodeled AMC theatres have laser technology which I think is significantly better than standard digital.

On the other hand, premium tickets are for premium movie formats such as 3D, IMAX and Dolby Digital. These auditoriums have larger screens, better images, better sound quality and better seats.

Dine In is a feature of AMC Theatre wherein you can order food and drink and have it delivered to your seat. The menu options are varied and they have appetizers, mains, desserts, shakes and drinks. Dine-In Theatres have both standard and premium auditoriums. You also buy tickets online from our website page.

Not all AMC locations are equipped for dine-in however. In fact, as of this writing, you can only find them in the following AMC theatres:

How to Save Money on Standard and Premium AMC Tickets

So folks, these are the latest ticket prices for both standard and premium theater formats at AMC. If you want to save money on your movie ticket, it’s best to go during matinee showtimes which would give you a discount of around $20 to $25.

AMC Concession

Also, if you find yourself going to the cinemas frequently, then perhaps becoming an AMC Stubs A-List member would be more beneficial to you. It’s only $20 per month and you get to watch 3 free movies EVERY WEEK, premium formats included.

In my opinion, this is an excellent deal if you watch movies (at the theater) a lot.

I hope you find this post helpful. Enjoy watching your favorite movies at AMC!
